Three different numbers in one conversion
| Item | Meaning | Review location |
|---|---|---|
| Service fee | Cost of performing the conversion service | Quote and final order review |
| Source sending fee | Transaction fee from your wallet | Wallet send confirmation page |
| Difference between quoted and final amount | It can be related to rate and market conditions | Rate type and the result of the same order |
Any difference in the dollar value of two assets is not a fee. To calculate a cost refund, a recorded and verifiable amount must be recorded as a cost. The principal conversion amount or loss from market fluctuation cannot automatically be called a fee.
Net fee formula before and after refund
For comparison, first convert all amounts to a common unit using one documented rate and at one time. Initial net cost = input value + source sending fee − output value. Net cost after refund = initial net cost − the refund amount actually paid. Do not subtract a pending or rejected refund from the cost.
Example for illustration only and not a current quote: the input value is 1,000 USDT, the origin sending fee is equivalent to 1 USDT, and the output value is 994 USDT; the initial net fee becomes 7 USDT. If later 4 USDT of confirmed service fee is actually returned, the net fee after the return is 3 USDT. This example does not show the rate, eligibility, or result of any real order.
Calculation of 0.38% on the route is subject to the 1,000 euro threshold
This rate applies only to orders whose source currency and network are in the list of configured addresses and whose exact value of the sent asset is more than 1,000 euros. For other sources, the local threshold does not apply. The exact amount of 1,000 euros is not subject to this 0.38% tariff. USDT or USDC are not assumed to equal one euro in this calculation.
Formula: service fee = sent amount × 0.0038. The fee is rounded up to the smallest supported unit of the asset. After deducting it, the net receipt is calculated based on the recorded price and rounded down to the precision of the destination asset.
Hypothetical calculation: for 1 ETH on a route subject to the 1,000 euro threshold, the fee is 0.0038 ETH and the amount after deducting it is 0.9962 ETH. This calculation does not guarantee the market rate or order acceptance. The displayed net receipt is the basis for payment for a complete and timely deposit; the initial sending cost from your wallet is separate.

Separate the quote, result, and fee in one example
Educational example: if the initial offer shows receiving 100 USDT and the result of an order with a floating rate is 99 USDT, from these two numbers alone it cannot be concluded that exactly 1 USDT service fee was paid. The rate time and recorded costs must be checked separately.
To handle the fee, the final proof of fee and the documented rate of its conversion to USDT are needed. On a route subject to the 1,000 euro threshold, the agreed net amount for a complete and timely deposit is also not the same as a floating estimate. The information for the same order is the criterion for review.
Compare offers with the same input
- Take the amount and the sent asset as identical.
- Keep the destination network fixed; USDT on two networks has two different destinations.
- Read the rate type and validity conditions of each offer.
- Compare the net amount received and calculate the sending fee from the wallet separately.
- Do not draw a definitive conclusion from comparing an old rate with a new offer.
Service fee refund under the 2026 SarrafHub plan
The active plan applies to eligible orders created from 11 September to 31 December 2026 Tehran time and successfully completed within the same period. Eligible 2025 cases are still reviewed only under the original rules of that period.
Only the total recorded and confirmed service fee is refundable; the network fee, Gas, slippage, market changes, and the principal amount are not included. The fee is calculated at the documented rate USDT and the total is rounded up once to six decimal places. The order number and the USDT address on Ethereum can be recorded for review before the amount is ready.
Submitting a request is not confirmation of eligibility or payment. The amount is determined after reviewing the expense document, and if paid, the transaction reference is shown separately in the request status.
Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate the net conversion fee?
Add the input value and the source sending fee, subtract the output value, and deduct only the refund amount that was actually paid. All values must be compared in the same unit and documented time.
Does a fee refund mean the conversion is free from the start?
No. Fees are first paid according to the order and the payment network. The plan only later refunds the service fee of a confirmed eligible order; the network fee, slippage, and market change are not covered.
Is the network fee included in 0.38%?
The 0.38% route service fee is subject to the 1,000 euro threshold. The sending cost from the source wallet is reviewed separately. The agreed net receipt of the route subject to the 1,000 euro threshold must not be reduced due to the destination payment cost.
Why are the market price and the received Tether amount not exactly equal?
The market reference price is not necessarily the same request and network quote. Check the rate type, stated fees, and execution time; a price difference alone does not create a refundable amount.
Do I need to send the activation amount to request a refund?
No. The fee refund request SarrafHub does not require the initial deposit, activation amount, or wallet connection. You can submit the address USDT Ethereum along with the order number for review.
