How do we read the two types of offers?
| Question | Floating rate | Fixed rate |
|---|---|---|
| Can the final amount change? | Yes, according to the conversion execution terms | According to fixed-rate and deposit terms |
| Is the quote always valid? | No, a new quote is required | No, validity and deadline are limited |
| Is only a higher number enough? | Also read the terms and timing | Also read the lock and deposit terms |
Offer validity, deposit deadline, and execution time are not the same
The offer validity determines how long you can use that offer to place an order. If the validity countdown ends, get a fresh rate. Changing the address or amount should not cause an inconsistent offer to be used.
The deposit deadline applies after the order is created. The conversion completion time also includes receipt, confirmation, and destination payout. Therefore, the deadline countdown ending is neither a sign of successful payment nor a promise of completion within that same period.
For a fixed rate, follow the deposit terms stated in the same order. In the current SarrafHub review, sending is reminded 4 minutes after the order is created; before sending, also check the deadline and details of that same order.
The agreed amount on the route is subject to the 1,000 EUR threshold
If the source currency and network have a configured receiving address and the exact input value is more than 1,000 euros, this route applies. Sources outside this list are not subject to the local threshold; read the quote terms for that order. On this route the service fee is 0.38% and the net payout amount is specified in the quote. The deadline to receive the deposit is 60 minutes after placing the order.
Selecting a rate tab should not replace reading the final commitment. In the order review, the phrase "agreed net amount" explains the basis of the path subject to the 1,000 euro threshold. An incomplete, over-order, or late deposit requires review and is not subject to the same full and on-time deposit assumption.
What should I compare before confirming?
- The sent amount, asset, and network must be the same in both offers.
- Pay attention to the received amount and whether it is fixed or variable.
- Compare the time needed to send from the wallet with the deposit deadline.
- If my quote has expired, get a new quote with the same destination information.
- Keep the recorded order ID and, if the response is unclear, first recover the result of that same request.
Frequently asked questions
Does a fixed rate mean the conversion will definitely finish in a few minutes?
No. Rate stability and conversion execution time are two different matters. Network confirmation and order review can be time-consuming.
If I send a larger amount, will I get the same ratio of more Tether?
Do not assume this. The quote is for a specific amount; on a route subject to the 1,000 euro threshold, an extra deposit requires review. Match the sent amount with the order.
Why do fixed and floating offers not have the same number?
Their pricing terms are not the same. Read the offer for the same request and the displayed net amount along with its conditions; this guide does not state a fixed or guaranteed difference.
