Shared address does not mean the same asset
Some wallets display ETH and Ethereum tokens under one address. This shared appearance should not replace checking the asset. In the SarrafHub form, the sent currency ETH with USDT on Ethereum are two independent selections; sending another asset can cause the order to require review.
For this guide's route, ETH on Ethereum is the source. Selecting tokens with the same name on other networks does not mean they are supported. Read the network and asset name from both the send and order pages.
Preparing order ETH to USDT
- Specify the amount of ETH sent and check the Ethereum network.
- For the USDT destination, select a network that the receiving wallet supports.
- Receive the offer and enter the destination address.
- See the net amount, fee and deposit deadline in the final review and read the order execution terms.
- After placing the order, send only ETH and the agreed amount to the valid deposit address; keep the transfer ID and hash.
Consider Gas for sending ETH
A transaction on Ethereum has a Gas fee, and this fee is normally paid with ETH. If you intend to convert the entire balance, match the sendable amount with the estimated fee for that same transaction in the wallet; the balance figure is not necessarily the amount you can send to the destination.
For a subsequent send of USDT ERC-20 from an ordinary wallet, you usually also need ETH for Gas. Receiving USDT does not by itself require you to make an outgoing transaction. View the initial send cost, the conversion service fee, and the cost of subsequent use of Tether separately.

How to read the amount and fee correctly
Assume the amount you send is 1 ETH on Ethereum. If the exact value of this amount in the offer is more than 1,000 euros, the service fee will be SarrafHub 0.0038 ETH, and 0.9962 ETH will be the basis for calculating the net receipt. This calculation does not predict the price of ETH or the amount of USDT received.
If the value of that same amount is at most 1,000 euros, the tariff terms of that same quote apply. Therefore the amount ETH alone does not determine the route; the EUR price recorded in the quote is also involved. Read the reliable final amount from that same order review.

There is no fixed and permanent cost. First check the destination wallet support and then compare the cost and the received amount of the current quote.
Should I send ETH from within the site?
SarrafHub does not require connecting a wallet or private key for this route. After creating a valid order, you send from your own wallet to the order deposit address.
What happens if instead of ETH, I send USDT to the deposit address?
The asset does not match the order. Do not send more funds; follow up on the matter with the order ID and transfer hash. Automatic or free recovery is not guaranteed.
